God is good all the time and all the time God is good, in times of trouble and hardship he is always there for us. So we should rejoice and be glad in him even when we are at peace. It’s not only that we can seek him when we get into problems but also when we are well and have strength.
Today and always I ask God to make me available for those who are in need of Him. To let you know that He listens to each and every prayer you make. I am sinner Lord that’s why ask you for forgive, I am incomplete without experiencing your presence.
Lord make me an example to those who seek you and to those who have hard time believing in you. So I ask you make me your instrument in this prayer:-

Lord, make me instrument of your peace

As for where there is hatred, I may bring love

Lord, make me instrument for where there is doubt

I may bring faith in the hearts of your folks

Lord give me strength to praise and worship loud your name

As I walk down the streets full of despair I may bring hope to them.

Lord, give me your guidance through my passage into the darkness and hardship

And through the shadows of evils to show that you are the light to shine our souls.

Marriage can be wonderful – a husband and wife loving each other. What happens when there are problems or strife? We need a lasting source of love and forgiveness in our lives – and the only true and lasting source of love and forgiveness is God.

God Loves You

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life -- forever. "God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die." Jesus said, "I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest."

Since God planned for us to have peace and life, why are we so far from God?

We are Separated from God

Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

"All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's holiness." Sin is choosing to say or do or think things that are against God’s plan. "The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord."

There is only one way to reach God.

Jesus Christ Died for our Sins

Jesus Christ is God's Son. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.

"There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only One who can bring us to God." "Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God."

God has provided the only way – we must make the choice.

We Must Receive Christ

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and receive Him as our Savior and serve Him as our Lord. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believed on His name."

The Rosary is a Marian prayer that depicts the Biblical life of Jesus.

Pope John Paul II calls the Rosary a "compendium of the Gospel message" in his Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae, published October 16, 2002. The 5 Mysteries of Light or the Luminous Mysteries were added to the traditional Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries with the publication of this Apostolic Letter. He also states that "Mary constantly sets before the faithful the mysteries of her Son, with the desire that the contemplation of those mysteries will release all their saving power. In the recitation of the Rosary, the Christian community enters into contact with the memories and the contemplative gaze of Mary."

The Rosary was once thought to originate from the ancient prayer beads of the Middle East and Asia, although those beads largely have 33 beads. Others point to the prayer beads of the monks that were used to count the 150 Psalms. But it was St. Dominic in 1208 who began to spread devotion to the Rosary.

Domingo de Guzman was a Spanish preacher who went to southern France to preserve the faith against the Albigensian heresy. In 1208 while he was praying for three days in a chapel in Prouille, Dominic saw Mary, who gave him the Rosary and taught him how to pray the Rosary. St. Dominic founded the Dominican Friars, and established monasteries all over the world. The heresy ended during his lifetime. The most famous Dominican was St. Thomas Aquinas (1224-1274), one of the greatest theologians of the Catholic Church, the author of Summa Theologica.

The Blessed Mother also gave 15 reassuring promises to St. Dominic for those who faithfully recite the rosary:

(1) Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.
(2)    I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary. (3)   The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell. It will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat           heresies.
(4)   It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of               God; it will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the world and its vanities, and will             lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
(5)   The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.
(6)   Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred               mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he           shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God, and             become worthy of eternal life.
(7)   Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the            Church.
(8)   Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light         of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the                 merits of the Saints in Paradise.
(9)   I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
(10) The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
(11) You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
(12) All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
(13) I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for                         intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
(14) All who recite the Rosary are my children, and brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ. (15) Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

In addition, the Blessed Virgin Mary, during an appearance on December 10, 1925 to Sister Lucy, one of the three Fatima children, promised the graces necessary for salvation at the hour of death to all those who, for five first Saturdays in a row, went to Confession, Mass, Communion, recited the Rosary, and kept her company for 15 minutes while meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to the Blessed Mother.

There are five decades for one group of five Mysteries of the Rosary. You begin each decade reciting one of the Mysteries of the Rosary, then the Our Father, then ten Hail Marys, then the Glory and Fatima Prayers. One decade is prayed for each of the Five Joyful, Luminous (Mysteries of Light), Sorrowful, or Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary.

At the end of the Rosary, there are concluding prayers that may be said, such as the Hail Holy Queen, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, and the Memorare with a petition. One ends with the Sign of the Cross.

The Prayers of The Rosary

Prayer is the opening of one's heart and soul in a conversation with God, and thus is an expression of faith in a relationship with God. Humility is the foundation of prayer, as we learn in the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector (Luke 18:9-14). Jesus teaches us to pray: "All that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours" (Mark 11:24).

Prayer at home with the family is the first place to educate children in prayer! Forms of prayer include Adoration and Praise, Petition, Intercession, and Thanksgiving. There are three kinds of prayer: Vocal, Meditative, and Contemplative. Vocal prayer is the form of prayer in groups, as in Church. Meditation is a quest to understand the Christian life, in order to respond to what the Lord is asking. One may meditate on the Bible or the Rosary or other holy pursuits. One meditates in order to discern and come to the light: "Lord, what do you want me to do?" The Carmelite St. Teresa of Avila calls contemplative prayer a "close sharing between friends," a conversation with God in our hearts. Remember to be loving and thoughtful in your prayer with the Lord!

Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount and throughout the New Testament continues the tradition of prayer found in Hebrew Scripture, our Old Testament, exemplified by the Patriarchs of Israel such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and David. Examples of prayer in the Bible are the Psalms, Matthew 7:7, Matthew 18:20, Luke 9:35, John 17:11, Philippians 4:6, and James 5:14.

And listen in silence after you pray - you may receive an answer! 

The ideal prayer is the one Christ Jesus taught us, the Lord's Prayer, the Our Father (Matthew 6:9-13).  All Christian faiths say the Lord's Prayer.

THE OUR FATHER

"These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, 

that everything written about me in the law of Moses 

and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled." 

It really doesn’t take much.

It might happen when you hear your parents’ favorite Christmas carol. Immediately the song transports you out of your sterile workday back to your childhood, to a living room bursting with tinsel, gifts, and anticipation.

Or maybe it happens when you smell the spices of cider moving through your house this Christmas and you half-expect the memory of your grandfather to be standing in your kitchen, bragging about his perfect recipe, through his playful grin.

Worship with All Five Senses

Of course, the memories aren’t always that idyllic. For some, they’re unwelcome intrusions into a life under construction. Good or bad, sweet or bitter, the memories still come each Christmas. Just one small trigger, and everything we’ve loved, lost, and treasured seems to swell up in our hearts.

Nostalgia arrives through our senses. What we hear, see, taste, touch, and smell is the ink we use to write our mental autobiographies. We cannot escape our memories, because we cannot escape our senses, just like we cannot escape ourselves.

This is beautiful because we were created this way for a purpose. God gives us five senses to help us worship him: the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and tastes testify to the diversity of God’s gifts and to the depth of worship God deserves.

But in our pursuit to conform our hearts and minds to Christ, we often forget the physical elements in worship. When we lose this dimension, we often lose what it means to be altogether human, and ironically we lose a principal way God means to transform our hearts and minds. Our Lord consistently builds worship around our senses.

Remember the Passover

Standing on the precipice of Israel’s chaotic redemption, God commands his people to sit down for a meal — a directive that may seem slightly out of place and misguided. But when we see this scene in light of the whole drama, God’s instructions are perfect. The exodus is not just about God leading Israel out of Egypt; it is about God leading Israel into lifelong worship.

Passover is theological nostalgia. It defines the redemptive experience of a whole generation, so much so that God commanded an encore performance every year (Exodus 12:14). With every lamb, they smelled redemption. When they tasted bitter herbs, they tasted God’s goodness. When they fastened their sandals, every step reminded them of his grace. Every time they dipped hyssop into blood, they painted their theology.

Remember the Temple

The temple is the instrument God uses to overwhelm his people from the outside in. Its worship patterns shock each of the physical senses to press his purposes into his people. God tuned Israel and her priests to his presence and praise through the taste of showbread, the heat of the burnt offerings, the scent of cedar and incense, the gloss of gold, and the echoes of prayers. The temple’s multi-sensory experience brought the whole person before the presence and glory of God (2 Chronicles 7:1–2).

Like the Passover, every visit to the temple etched smells, touches, tastes, sounds, and sights into the worshiper’s consciousness. After leaving the temple, when a familiar scent or sound broke their routine, they were pulled back in memory to the place where God was present, where their sins went to die, and where God’s promises were on full display.

Remember the Incarnation

In Christ, God took on flesh and tabernacled in the midst of his people (John 1:14). In Christ, we see God and, simultaneously, what it means to be truly human.

This is why Jesus’s ministry invades every part of us, including our senses. Through mud-caked eyes, the blind can see. Through a touch of his garment, he heals the broken. Through voicing a simple prayer, the multitudes taste bread and fish without end.

In Jesus, the one who created our senses entered his world to redeem them. He comes to touch, smell, hear, see, and taste death for his people so that you and I may do what we were made to do: worship him with every part of our being (Romans 12:1).

We were made for this. God calls us to taste this Bread of Life, to drink this life-giving water, to see this light of the world, to smell the sheep on our Good Shepherd, to hear his question, “Who do you say that I am?” We were made to touch his nail-scarred hands and see him standing outside the empty tomb (John 20:27).

Remember the Good News

We need to hear and experience the gospel over and over again. God has made a way for this. Jesus gives us new-covenant nostalgia in the bread and wine of the Lord’s Supper. And through the waters of baptism, we see, taste, hear, smell, and feel what it means to move from death to life.

God saves all of us — redeeming and reinterpreting our senses, too — so that we can worship him more fully. So, taste and see — and touch, hear, and smell — that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8). You were made for this — every part of you.

Passion, like many important words, has been overused, and therefore, devalued. It’s a victim of that inescapable English idiosyncrasy — the inclination to use one word for too many things.

Zeal is the word in our English Bibles that perhaps gets closest to what we typically mean when we talk about “passion.” Well-known examples include

• [Jesus Christ] gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. (Titus 2:14)
• [Jesus’s] disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.” (John 2:17)
• [Let] the one who leads, [do so] with zeal.” (Romans 12:8)
• Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. (Romans 12:11)

At this time of year, this is the kind of zeal Christians hear most about:

To us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. (Isaiah 9:6–7)
“Passion and zeal are gauges that display what our heart treasures, and therefore what fuels our lives.”

In modern English, we’d say the consuming passion of the Lord of hosts is to redeem lost sinners through the Messiah’s sacrifice (Isaiah 53), and to establish and uphold the Messiah’s eternal kingdom. This is God’s main thing, his primary focus for mankind.

If we share God’s passion in this sense, it is a very good thing. It is a godly thing.

Passion from the Heart

In fact, it is such a good thing that the Bible commands it. Did you notice the command in Paul’s statement, “Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord” (Romans 12:11)? This means being passionate is not an option for the Christian.

Here is where we must let the Bible, rather than our society, define our terms, set our standards, and develop our expectations. The Bible doesn’t see what we call passion as something rooted in our temperaments. Laid-back personalities are called to lives of fervent, dedicated focus every bit as much as intense, driven personalities. Neither does it see passion as something rooted in our ethnic background. Those of Scandinavian heritage (like me), who might tend toward being emotionally reserved, are called to feel deeply and strive intensely every bit as much as those whose ancestors were “passionate Latins.”

No, the Bible sees zeal as a heart issue. When Paul says, “Do not be slothful in zeal,” we need to remember that Jesus called the slothful servant in his parable “wicked” (Matthew 25:26). Slothfulness is not a personality quirk; it’s a sin. It’s a sin because to not “be fervent in spirit” as we serve the Lord is to be at some level indifferent to what he cares most deeply about. Such indifference is evil.
“Few things expose us more than comparing what God is passionate about with what we are passionate about.”

In God’s mind, fervency, zeal, or passion aren’t descriptions of how emotive we are. They’re gauges that display what our heart treasures, and therefore what fuels our lives. Just like God is far more impressed by sincere prayers in secret than longwinded public prayers (Matthew 6:5–6), he is far more impressed (or not) by what truly enthralls us than by any outward emotional exhibition. For what enthralls us determines how we prioritize our lives.

No matter how genetics and environment have influenced our emotive natures, few things expose our true selves more than comparing what God is passionate about with what we are passionate about. Frequently the zeal we need most is the zeal to repent (Revelation 3:19).

Whatever It Takes

We are emotionally and affectionally disordered by our indwelling sin. We find God’s command for us to passionately serve him impossible to obey in our own strength. Of course we do, just like many, many other impossible commands, such as “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39) and “do not fear those who kill the body” (Matthew 10:28).

But God’s impossible commands are actually mercies to us. They humble us in ways we desperately need (1 Peter 5:6) and push us to rest more and more in the finished work of Christ for us (2 Corinthians 5:21). They call us to deeper levels of prayerful dependence and drive us to ask God for our every need (Luke 11:9) and to live on every word from his mouth (Matthew 4:4). In other words, they work to teach us to follow Jesus in living the way humans were always meant to live: by faith (Hebrews 12:2; 2 Corinthians 5:7).

No, we are not as passionate as we should be about the things we should be. But that sin is covered (1 John 1:9), and God will complete his good work in us so that someday we’ll perfectly share his passions (Philippians 1:6). Today, he wants us to ask him for the zeal we are meant to have. And he wants us to ask him boldly (Hebrews 4:16), and with faith (James 1:6). Therefore,

Whatever it takes, Lord, increase my zeal to do your will and my urgency to make the best use of my time during these evil days. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
